The caffeine trap feels like productivity

Coffee and energy drinks create the illusion of focus. The spike feels productive. The crash feels inevitable. And the cycle keeps you dependent on something that's actively working against you.

  • The 2pm crash isn't laziness it's chemistry

  • Jitters aren't focus they're your nervous system not handling the overdrive.

  • Tolerance builds. Performance doesn't.

  • You're not tired because you need more caffeine. You're tired because of it.

High performers don't need more stimulation. They need stability. When your baseline is steady, focus becomes effortless.

Think of it like running software. Coffee overclocks your processor until it crashes. Baseline optimizes your system to run clean.

    Questions worth asking

    1 check

    Does this actually work?

Yes. Functional mushrooms have decades of research supporting cognitive function and stress adaptation. This isn't placebo — it's biochemistry working with your body, not against it.

    2 check

    Will I feel jittery?

No. Baseline is designed to support your nervous system, not overstimulate it. You'll feel focused and calm, not wired.

    3 check

    Why not just drink coffee?

Coffee alone creates the spike-crash cycle. Baseline gives you the focus without the fallout. It's coffee, redesigned.

    4 check

How long until I notice results?

Most people notice calmer focus within the first few days. The real difference shows up over weeks — when you realize you're not fighting crashes anymore.

    who we are

    I’m the founder of Baseline.

I built this because I got tired of the same cycle: coffee to start the day, another cup to keep going, and then the crash that hits right when you need to lock in. As a business student, I couldn’t afford to feel sharp for one hour and foggy the next. I needed something I could rely on, every day.

Baseline is the drink I wish I had when I was trying to keep up with classes, projects, and everything else. It’s not hype. It’s not a shortcut. It’s just a smarter baseline for long days and serious goals.

    Performance is worth investing in

Baseline costs less per serving than your daily coffee run. But unlike coffee, it doesn't cost you your afternoon, your sleep, or your nervous system.

    Value comparison:

    • Coffee shop habit: $5-7/day, crashes included
    • Energy drinks: $3-4/can, jitters guaranteed
    • Baseline: $0.80/serving, 45 servings sustained all day

*(45 servings per 16oz of mushroom coffee)
